Not Just A Candle Shop

Located in downtown Bel Air at 31 W. Courtland Street, You Make Scents Candles is not just a candle shop!  Children and adults can spend an afternoon or evening in our Scent Creation Studio designing a unique fragrance to add to candles or bath & body products.  You will be given step-by-step instructions from an experienced chandler to make your very own products.  Interested in other make-and-take options?  The shop also offers over 15 different DIY Experiences for all ages.  You can dig for treasure, make a succulent garden, make your own jewelry, and so much more. Book a time online for our Scent Creation Studio or walk in anytime for DIY experiences.  Looking for a unique birthday party or group event, we are more than happy to help customize the experience you are looking for.
